Now that the #canadianelection is thankfully over, I wanted to share this fun image I unexpectedly captured week or so ago. The zoomed out one is the original picture with cropped ones for more detail. It so looks like a flying saucer with a stream behind it! What do you think??

Excuse me while I post prolifically about trans rights, as the Cons in Canada mimic the US in their platform. I want to scream. It shouldn't even be legal to target and bully people in politics or otherwise, FFS.
I'd like this to stop so I can sleep, and focus on art making. Thanks.

Well put. No terfs please. Trans women are women. 💗🏳️‍⚧️💗
JK, are you listening? Oh, that’s right, you never do any more.

I think of all the queer and trans friends and family I have, and I won't sit around and let this happen.
The right has gone too far.
Vote strategically. This is evil stuff we can't shrug off.
The attack in the Conservative Party platform on trans folks should worry all of us. Think carefully before you vote, and check out the @momentumcanada.net Drag the Vote campaign for an analysis of how all of the federal parties stack up when it comes to 2SLGBTQ+ rights.

What a brilliant, interactive way for artists to shift perspectives 😍
From art institutions to science centers, museums often cite inclusion and community in their mission statements. But one critical facility is regularly neglected: all-gender restrooms.
Amid Attacks on Trans Rights, Museum Staff Push for All-Gender Restrooms
From a toilet "intervention" to signage that upends the traditional gendered silhouette, cultural workers share the labor that goes into developing inclusive facilities.

How do we get through to people who deny and try to downplay the harm that was done to children in residential schools? Let's not normalize and excuse genocide denialism. Accountability starts with kicking Aaron Gunn out of the race. Vote Tanille Johnston, NDP.

Residential school denialism does not deny the existence of the school system, but rather downplays, excuses or misrepresents facts surrounding the harms caused by it, experts say.

For crying out loud, this is ridiculous. Aaron Gunn has to go. If he is sent to Ottawa it's absolutely shameful on the part of the ones voting for him, and those allowing him to continue to represent the Cons. Gross.

I did not vote for party of Trumpoilievre, and the ConservaTrumps.

Rosie! Our beautiful Aussie Bernedoodle. I carved a portrait of her in this lidded pot I threw. The lid fits but looks a bit ridiculous; it was my first ever attempt. It was fun carving this of our sweet Rosie bc she is such a loving, gentle, fun, intuitive member of our family.

Poilievre doesn't want youth to vote, because they'd vote against his party. Remember this? The bill passed, stopping elections from encouraging young people to vote.
