The situation is different now. When "scary-looking" people hang out in front of a business, proprietors want them to move on. The loiterers say they're waiting for the bus when asked to move on. Businesses lose customers.

Yes, I think "give way" means the same as "yield". When a cyclist comes to a stop sign & cross traffic doesn't have to stop, they have to give way to that traffic. If no traffic, they can keep going through the stop sign. Before, police would have enforcement actions and ticket all who didn't stop.

In Oregon state, we have the "Idaho (another US state) stop law." It allows us to treat stop signs as yield signs, if we slow and can see it's safe to proceed. Coming to a complete stop at every stop sign takes a lot of energy and isn't necessary.

Someone posted that FOX is playing footage from the police riots of fall 2020 and Antifa's attempts to counter them. If true, this could explain Felon47's confusion about what he's "seeing on television."

Seriously. SCOTUS doesn't get to decide if a part of an amendment is constitutional or not. It's in the constitution, so it's constitutional. It can be changed, but not by a SCOTUS ruling. Outrageous already, before the ruling.

I noticed that too. Someone brought Starbucks coffee to a staff room and I tried it. I thought it was a mistake, but have since learned that's how it's supposed to taste. No wonder they put all that extra stuff in it.
