This is the scandal. Trump isn’t targeting dangerous people. He’s targeting peaceful immigrants. Almost exclusively.

The argument that billionaires shouldn’t exist grows stronger and stronger. If any group of billionaire assholes can make a bet so bad that it tanks the economy then we should prevent the accumulation of wealth that made such bad decisions possible.

PS: the shutdown worked. Even its ending. This healthcare subsidies debacle is a slow moving train wreck and the relentless focus on it made it a high profile, entirely Republican issue.
