There is a sense of community that exists in Chicago that I've never felt anywhere else. ICE relies on fear, and when you remove that, they are unable to respond.

I used to be able to relax walking along the lake and now I spend the walk paranoid I'll have to defend some poor civilian before it's over. We have to take back our communities from these thugs!

They control that feature. You can turn your phone off, but it's still pinging on celll towers to use certain emergency features. It's never truly turned off.

I have my location turned off and fitbit will randomly tell me it's using GPS for certain features. Fitbit is now owned by Google.
