He has constitutional tools. If he refuses to use them, he is choosing political convenience over the safety & rights of trans kids.

Tonight, we did something everyone counted out. We proved to a nation that states like Tennessee are still worth fighting for. The margin was close, and that can only be attributed to the thousands of volunteers who showed out. This is just the beginning.

As much as I love all of the NDP leadership candidates, Francophones across Canada deserve better than what that debate was. Leading in Canada means leading in Quebec. If the NDP wants to expand into Quebec again, it needs to learn the importance of French and put in the effort.

It is very unfortunate to see that Omar Fateh did not win in Minneapolis, but it is infinitely reassuring that so many people were willing to vote for change in the form of an open democratic socialist. I certainly think he has a bright future ahead.
