Liberal Democrat South Cambridgeshire run District Council smashes record for new Council houses.

South Cambridgeshire District Council has confirmed the completion of 113 new Council homes since 1 April - the highest annual number achieved.

I met with Bathwick Councillors Manda and Toby to discuss tackling anti-social behaviour across their ward.

The Government has announced which areas, undergoing local government reorganisation, will be allowed to postpone their of local elections scheduled for 7 May 2026 for a period of one year for the following councils.

As part of the LGA’s support for councillor safety, they are offering a virtual safer canvassing event for councillors to build confidence around handling online abuse and intimidation.
