American cooks have been dealing with Thanksgiving leftovers for 400 years! We don't need to look to the French, we have a hell of a lot more experience with turkey's than they do!

Nothing better than the smell of turkey, filled with homegrown garden herbs, roasting in the oven! Sweet potatoes baked, broccoli ready to cook.
Once the turkey is roasted, for dessert the Illinois Custard is next. This year, I changed it up a little by putting roasted chestnuts and pecans in it.😋

YUMMY! Lg. mug, sm. pan 1/2 filled with water, 72% dark choc. chips, 1/2 section of TJ's "buzz" (with coffee) choc. bar, dash of vanilla, 1/4 cup whipping cream, remainder "Barista" oat milk. Slowly heat, melt chocolates in mug in pan, add the other ingredients, stir vigorously, add marshmallows. 😋
