Ro Khanna: “J.D. Vance just doesn't know the law. There's never been absolute immunity for ICE officers — they can be prosecuted, they usually are prosecuted criminally for violations. There is qualified immunity, means if they don't clearly violate civil rights statutes, they can't face civil suit”

When you have that ultra-niche, kinda weird hobby and encounter another with the same, but they aren't on the same level of nerddom. You feel this sort of ache because you were hoping to finally chat about this and they aren't as interested.

Library book Pros:
• Free books!
• Practicing patience while waiting for your hold
• Adventure! Who knows what will be found on the shelves
• The smell and feel of physical books!

Library book Cons:
• Dirty books (messy fingerprints everywhere or ??? on the pages)
• Food and other questionable things used as bookmarks by previous readers
• Sticky - why are pages stuck together? I hope it's glue 🤢
• Missing books in a series or the wrong title/author sent for a hold request

Personally, I love it when authors casually include music in their writings. Something that the reader can look up to enhance the experience and deepen the immersion.
