Sometimes I feel like our society has gone backwards in so many ways, but then I watch Amber Glenn being so beloved while talking openly abt being queer & mental health & Magic: The Gathering and I realize that we *have* made progress.

Many American families lost their native tongues within a generation, due to shame, bullying, persecution and xenophobia.
So I’m gonna sit with Bad Bunny today & be happy for all the ppl who are reveling in his words b/c they have kept their family tongue alive, still even among the xenophobia.

I stayed home sick from home. 18yo is home sick from school, and he just tested positive for Flu B. His show choir is called Music in Motion (MiM for short), and many of the kids are sick. They are calling it MiMfluenza.
