My library system would appear to be without any sort of ILL for the foreseeable future. It’s awful for all our patrons and for so, so many patrons throughout the state. 😢

If you are a member of any sort of ethnic #genealogy group, you HAVE to make it welcoming for people who are only "a little" of that ethnicity. My close ancestors were from several different nations; I don't strongly identify with any one of them, but I want to feel valued in these groups.

This week, I withdrew from a speaking engagement at a public university because they sent me a list of prohibited “words & concepts.” I will not humor this censorship. It does a disservice to the stories I’m discussing & the audience, who deserve unfettered access to information & conversation.
