When I played smash I always picked Pikachu and was notorious for using his thunderbolt move to trap people in the air and they’d get ✨ mad ✨. One day my friend shouted ‘STOP LIGHTNING SPAMMING’ and I was like ‘huh I kinda like that’ and so lightningspam became my username.

I lost my dad recently. He played a huge role in my artwork and I’ll be posting a few paintings this week that connect me to him.

He was a research meteorologist and I’d spend my summers with him on weather projects studying hail. Every storm I paint has a piece of him in it.
