Evidently, President Trump got all the proof he needs that vaccines are safe and effective. He voted with his arm yesterday and got the highly beneficial Covid and flu shots. Amid the sea of confusion RFKJ has generated about vaccines, all Americans should know that Trump is getting vaccinated.

Last month Trump said he wanted proof that COVID vaccines are effective. Yesterday, during his "semiannual" physical, Trump received a COVID vaccine as well as a flu shot.

That's because vaccines — which Trump's administration have made harder to get — work.

😹☠️☠️☠️ I was like “9! That’s so early! … oh right, west coast time. … oh right! They’re playing the Buckeyes!” And nice, the Illini are ranked 17!

As I said a couple hours ago about a different fake video, you don't need to feel stupid if you fell for it.

The entire internet is drowning in this AI shit. And there's no easy solution. We're just fucking cooked as a society.

Don’t feel stupid if you fell for fake video. It can be really hard to tell these days. But we do have to try and be careful with what we share because there’s so much AI video out there.

It’s just the world we live in now.

Quite beautiful aurora happening now through the moonlight at Isle Royale, Michigan as a substorm is popping. Worth taking a look soon if you have clear skies and are north of the 45th geographic parallel.

Right? It remains my favorite Xianxia novel I’ve read. (Again with the N.B./caveat that it is *not my genre.*) But I’ve liked a lot of her other books too. She’s pretty girl power & “why should I make you suffer just because I’m unhappy when you’re not involved/the problem.” Really appreciated that.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but the CDC is being eviscerated right now. America is not going to have any kind of outbreak response capacity after tonight. Americans’ health data is no longer secure. Say goodbye to federal public health in any capacity. It’s a disaster. We won’t recover.

O.O I just checked the score. And more importantly, the *inning.* 🙈
limecello.bsky.social
I’ve read at least 8 books by this author and like 3 would be in my top 15 or even top 10 out of all the cnovels I’ve read ❤️💯

😹☠️ what’s sad is the MDL summary is … basically better than the book one.
The first very few chapters in the mortal realm are the obligatory sad, but the rest is a delight. FL is a mess, very strong, basically no xianxia misunderstanding tropes. A delight. I felt the book was like a warm hug ❤️
Ascending, Do Not Disturb

For the longest time this was my most anticipated #cdrama and then I basically gave up hope on it.
(Also it might be the first xianxia I read. Heh. High bar.)

ICE left David, a 17-year-old boy, stranded on the side of Interstate 20 after pulling over his immigrant father, Hector, in Mississippi.

David began running in the scorching sun after the car and watched as it disappeared from sight—soon headed to a Louisiana ICE prison.

Here's their story.

I’ve done it for movies especially when the dialogue is like a whisper but the sound effects are “blow your ears out” loud if you want to be able to hear people speak 😖
