I'm at CVS-

YW1) I don't know which one is best for my face.

YW2) I know. I'm so stupid when it comes to this.

Me) You should never call yourself stupid.

YW2) I do it all the time.

Me) It's a bad habit you should break, not knowing something doesn't make you stupid.

My no. 8 rule for business.
Whenever I'm at work, no problem has to be solved at 5:45 p.m.
If I text or email you about it I'm going to end the message w 'It's a tomorrow problem. It doesn't need a today solution.'
A new dawn blooms fresh ideas.
Besides, I don't want you to be late for Happy Hour.

Bad Bunny’s monologue on SNL last evening. He proved again why he’s one of the biggest artists on the planet.
He definitely exposed America’s cultural insecurity. When someone speaks Spanish on national TV, half the country panics.

For (us) liberals, @msnbc.com is our last, best hope in mass media. Today's a big day: separation from NBC. With CNN likely falling under the sway of the miniMurdochs & their Bari, I pray MSNOW stays true to its 4pm-on soul. We need it now more than ever.

The Trump administration has cancelled 4,304 deliveries to food banks so far this year, refusing to deliver 94 million pounds of contracted-for food. Food banks simply can’t feed people enough anymore. Millions of Americans are going hungry as a result.
Trump Canceled 94 Million Pounds of Food Aid. Here’s What Never Arrived.
ProPublica obtained records from the Department of Agriculture that detail the millions of pounds of food, down to the number of eggs, that never reached food banks because of the administration’s cut...

Heading out to the beach today? ⛱️

Use extra caution given the Moderate to High rip current risk from Florida to Maine today (October 2). Try to find a beach with lifeguards - and when in doubt, don't go out!
weather.gov/safety
Map showing the Rip Current Risk, today (October 2) across the southeast and eastern U.S. The map shows Moderate to High Risk of rip currents from Florida to Maine. Rip Currents: Know Your Options. Rip currents are powerful currents of water moving away from shore. They can sweep even the strongest swimmer away from shore. If at all possible, swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current: 1) Relax, rip currents don't pull you under. 2) Don't swim against the current. 3) Swim out of the current, then to shore. 4) If you can't escape, float or tread water. 5) If you need help, yell or wave for assistance. The image shows a rip current as a narrow flow of water moving in a line directly away from the beach, with waves on either side moving in the opposite direction towards the beach. Arrows point away from either side of the current and into the waves, parallel to the beach, indicating the path of escape from the rip current.

IN THE PURSUIT OF THE PERFECT NEGRONI #Gincident. A night fueled w a quadfecta of Gin based cocktails. The Classic Negroni & Window Seat by VALERIE’s Marshall Minayat. The Orange Moon by Dear Irving’s Meaghan Dorman. The Serenade by Atsushi NYC. Thank you @no3gin.matthew.
This image shows part of a printed cocktail menu for Negroni Week, featuring specialty drinks created by different bartenders. The background is a cream color with elegant black and blue text. On the left, the names of participating bars or venues are listed, including “Valerie,” “Dear Irving on Broadway,” and a decorative “AS” monogram. At the bottom left, there is a round logo for “No. 3 London Dry Gin” with a key symbol in the center. On the right side, cocktail details are presented. Marshall Minaya offers two drinks: “Window Seat,” made with gin, Campari, coconut, black tea, smoked chile, and fino sherry; and a “Classic Negroni,” with gin, Campari, and Valdespino vermouth. Meaghan Dorman’s drink, “Orange Moon,” combines gin, Campari, spiced agave liqueur, strawberry amaro, and cacao. Atsushi Nakayama presents “Serenade,” with gin, Suze, and plum wine. This photo captures a warm, celebratory moment at a bar. In the foreground, a woman and a man are smiling broadly as they clasp hands across the counter, suggesting camaraderie and good spirits. The woman, wearing a black blouse and a pearl-studded headband, sits on the left. She has shoulder-length hair, large hoop earrings, and a bright red lipstick smile. The man, on the right, wears a dark jacket with a white shirt and patterned teal tie, leaning forward with cheerful energy. Between them on the marble counter is a cocktail menu and a lit tea candle in a glass holder. Behind the bar, shelves display rows of tall yellow bottles, while a bartender in a white coat works quietly in the background. The scene feels festive, intimate, and welcoming—an evening of shared drinks, laughter, and connection. This close-up photo highlights a cocktail served in a short, faceted glass placed on a crisp white napkin. The napkin bears a bold black logo reading “No. 3 London Dry Gin” with a key symbol cleverly replacing the “o.” The drink itself is a warm amber color, likely a gin-based Negroni or similar cocktail, and is filled with large, clear ice cubes that catch the light. Floating on top is a thick wedge of orange garnish, dusted with what appears to be freshly grated spice, adding texture and aroma. The lighting is soft and warm, creating a cozy, elegant mood. The focus on the cocktail and branding suggests a premium gin experience, celebrating craftsmanship and presentation. The image captures the essence of a refined evening drink, balancing simplicity and sophistication in a single glass. The image shows a striking illuminated display for “No. 3 London Dry Gin.” A large, glowing turquoise neon sign dominates the background, featuring the stylized text “No. 3” with a key symbol cleverly incorporated into the design. The words “London Dry Gin” run vertically down the side, giving the sign a sleek, modern feel. In front of the glowing backdrop is a small tabletop arrangement. On the left sits a tall glass mixing pitcher with a long metal bar spoon resting inside. In the center, three small No. 3 Gin bottles are arranged upright. To the right, a silver serving tray holds three small glass jars filled with cocktail garnishes or botanicals, likely herbs or spices. A vase with a single white carnation adds a soft touch. The scene blends bar craft and branding, projecting an atmosphere of elegance and refinement.

Last night was about Toki Whisky and Jazz.
Cocktail menu – A black and red printed menu on a marble bar listing drinks made with Suntory Toki whisky, such as highballs and signature cocktails. Cocktail glass – A coupe glass filled with a rich amber drink, garnished with a skewered cherry and a small citrus slice.
