You utter fraud. You didn't handle a fucking thing responsibly as a journalist. Why would a camera cramp your style?

I refuse to give that greedheaded libertarian space in my head as a hero. But the sonofabitch has been consistent on extrajudicial killings by presidents since al-Awlaki and if he keeps this up, I going to be really pissed off at whatever measure of grudging respect I'll have to supply.
Rand Paul tells me that he wants the full video of the Venezuelan boat strike released.

“And I think if the public sees images of people clinging to boat debris and being blown up, I think that there is a chance that finally, the public will get interested enough in this to stop this.”

Asshole (and I use the term clinically and empirically in this instance), in reality every fifth vessel they stop and search is actually found to have no contraband. Eego, the occupants of said vessel remain unmurdered by our nation.

Congrats, on being the worst sociopath on the internet today.
If the US Coast Guard stops a ship in international waters and seizes their cocaine, is that a war crime? The ship has not done anything illegal. Should we prosecute the Coast Guard Captain for piracy?

In Maryland, it's only been in the last decade or so that we've managed to dump our Taney statues. It would be nice to think that if there's a republic that survives, its rescuers won't cast any of Roberts to hang around, shaming us for a century or more.
If you see John Roberts in person, be sure to tell him he’s a worse Chief Justice than Roger Taney (pronounced “tawny”). That’s a nerd burn that will hit him where it counts.

To be fair my years exclude pre-Civil RIghts America, the age of the robber barons and the grasping amorality of the Mexican-American War, but overall I've lived 65 years and on an everyday basis, i have never been more ashamed of my country than in the past eleven months.

My god.

To complete a perfect circle of hypcrisy, today would be an excellent day for other U.S. warships to fire a salvo of missiles into Yemen to punish the Houthis for targeting ships in international waters. American exceptionalism demands it, in fact.

Indeed. It must be terrifying to be abducted and not know what your future holds.

Enveloped in your raid gear and masked for anonymity, you fascist shitheels can't even see yourselves as the hollow, soulless thugs you are. But we can.
The agent, who’s assigned to another HSI office and is in Minnesota on “temporary detail for an operation,” is unfamiliar with the Twin Cities, did not know where they were going, and “was in fear that he was being abducted.”

The ravenous, all-consuming narcissism that has rotted the mind of this man requires that every event, every tragedy, every circumstance be ultimately about him. Others in the world do not exist as fully human; they operate only to validate Donald Trump. This is a gross display of mental illness.
Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer were murdered. This is how Trump decided to respond.

It's profoundly different to cover a U.S. president than state or local officials, and too, much harder to vent publicly if you're female. But if in my reporting days, if anyone from a police sergeant to the mayor of Baltimore told me, "Quiet, piggy," I'd immediately insist he go fuck himself.

At the onset of a career in journalism, I was taught a hard rule that one should never put himself in the story: You are the teller, not the tale.

Editors told us the rule prioritized the subject of our work. Olivia Nuzzi makes it plain we were being protected from showing the world our assholes.

An hour now, @amtrak.com.
Really, I'd just like to review the process by which you failed to deliver two minors to the station where their pickups were waiting for them, and then threatened not to release one of the kids at the next station because your own paperwork was incorrect. I'll be friendly.
@amtrak.com: No wish to prejudge the sincerity of your response to your personnel depositing at the wrong station a minor traveling with all required paperwork/route contacts provided in advance. But now, on hold for 40 minutes waiting to talk to a human, I begin to fear you might not give a fuck.
