Folds on the Kennedy Center 3 weeks ago: I was sick to my stomach when I quit because I knew they were going to run it into the ground. No one that they were appointing had any experience in arts administration, but that was never the point. The point was to take that, run over it, and move on.

bout a week ago one of my girls wanted to hear a song with “rose” in it. i the millennial dad could only think of one song with “rose” in it so i introduced them to outkast.
ive spent my week playing outkasts discography with my kids & my two year old now only refers to himself as big boy.

i feel terrible for any 5 year old caught in the middle of their parents’ legal spats. i only hope this one grows up knowing that even though i never met her, i always wanted to and i will always be hoping she lives a happy and fulfilling life, however she defines it to herself.
