🧵In my expert opinion as a researcher of vehicle ramming attacks, what has been publicly described in the video evidence does not support the claim that Renee Nicole Good was attempting a deliberate ramming attack when she was shot in Minneapolis on January 7, 2026. 1/7

New review of evidence finds the most-effective police crime prevention tends to be:

a) focused on very specific places (not people or neighbourhoods), and
b) tailored to preventing a *specific* type of crime.

⚠️ Broad-brush crime prevention generally doesn't work.

As an NZ immigrant I can confirm it is not better, just different. Xmas is nowhere near as hyped there which is both less stressful and less Chrismassy. It is a novelty being able to spend Xmas at the beach/lake/river but I'd still choose a cold Xmas every time!
