Printing presses kept their letters in cases.

Capital letters went in the upper case.
Smaller letters went in the lower case.

This is why we say ‘UPPER CASE’ and ‘lower case.’

Yeah in certain situations I feel like if you could talk about it and you're not, you're just lying to each other via omission. Obviously there's people you can't talk to and discretion and all that, but like if you can and growth is possible, it's kind of doing a disservice not to, imo.
