Sometimes being left alone with your in-laws family at Christmas gatherings can feel like being thrown to the wolves. And I should know! Grish'nock threw me into the wolf pit yesterday. He said my rock didn't pass QA standards. As a Boss, I'd say he's tough but fair!

Milestone leveling isn’t inherently bad, but it can feel bad to players when they feel like levels are dished out arbitrarily. When I started telling my players, “you complete a quest, you gain a level” It gave them a sense that their levels were earned, not allowed. #dnd #ttrpg

I really enjoy using Grimlocks for low level play. I find that in the leagues of Humanoid Underdark adversaries they're often overlooked compared to Duergar and Drow, but for my money they're so much more creepy and menacing.

Anybody ells think the “hell on earth” apocalypse setting is severely underutilized in TTRPG? I’m thinking worlds like Darksider, Doom, and especially Hellgate: London. Would love to find more worlds like this to deeply explore. Maybe #TTRPG can help me out.
