I take a "health risk assessment" for my insurance every year, and I always fail the bmi requirement because I have a lot of muscle. they send me to coaching sessions, the coach rolls her eyes, and it's a giant waste of everybody's time. the discount is worth it tho. american health care is cool 🙄

the alternator in my truck broke last night, and the solution that got me through the whole day was to literally hit it with a hammer. i'm almost mad that it worked.

im so sorry. it's just like a fresh wound. right now the pain is constant and overwhelming, but it's also at its most intense. take it easy and focus on yourself, it will heal. it's a long process, and it isn't always linear, but it gets better and you will be stronger on the other side of it

i don't feel like you're complaining at all. i also deal with chronic pain and illness, and i know how brutal it can be, even in a much milder form. i also know how embarrassing it can feel to suffer from something invisible, and i think talking about it can help with that
