Zionism is an ideology that does not have Jewishness as an entry requirement. Lots of right-wing churches, billionaires etc are Zionists. Lots of Jews are opposed to Zionism. It's very understandable that it's confusing because Zionists will yell until they are blue in the face that they are Jews.

The US and Israel vote AGAINST banning torture.
I wouldn't be surprised if other countries inflict torture undercover.
However, doesn't it reveal so much that there are only three countries that have the audacity and confidence to blatantly proclaim their approval of torture?
