This is such an interesting topic. My immediate thought is actually RTS as an entire genre. It was one of the BIG genres on computers, RTS Esports were HUGE. The first thing I knew about Korea as a child was that they played a lot of Starcraft

what are good examples of games that were a big deal at the time but have seemingly faded into, if not obscurity, then just a lesser profile than you’d expect. my go to is probably escape from butcher bay. kids don’t know there was a riddick game and it was legit

Was thinking last night about why I don't really like Mega Man X that much, even though I love Classic Mega. There are a few reasons, but after I realized one thing about X, I couldn't stop thinking more about it.
I think Sigma might kinda suck as a villain? And that's a shame, he's lost potential.

Took my blood pressure, which is 129 over 92, which seems pretty rough.
One of my friends was like "That's just elevated, well in the range of high anxiety"

Some people are acting like Nicki Minaj's sudden political shift is a surprise, it's not. Her plans and goals are quite clear. She had a good in to get some political influence so she can try and get Megan's Law repealed, her true goal in life.

Watching the new Todd in the Shadows video where he spends 30% of it ragging on Taylor Swift for reacting poorly to internet criticism, then ending it with a huge shout out to Lindsay Ellis, a woman who reacted so poorly to internet criticism she flamed out, was EXTREMELY jarring to me.

Every night I crawl into a cold bed with an electric blanket and a heavy comforter.
In the middle of the night I get too hot so I push the comforter off me in my sleep. An hour later I wake up too cold and pull it back up. Repeat every hour.

Watched some Christmas Movies for movie night tonight. First was Tokyo Godfathers, then was Die Hard
Tokyo Godfathers I had seen before, and is still a super good movie. Die Hard I'd somehow never seen before, and was way better than I expected tbh!
