(1,2) I have often stated my belief that the Current Occupant of the White House lies about everything. Last night he posted this. He is either knowingly lying, senile, or both. HE WAS THE PRESIDENT ON JANUARY 6TH. Biden was still a private citizen.

I co-wrote a book about Benedict Arnold’s treason, focused on his co-conspirator wife. The difference between Arnold and today’s Republicans is that Arnold did brave things before his betrayal. But he’d likely be gratified that the GOP's actions mean he’s no longer the worst traitor in U.S. history.

The Office of Management and Budget sent a notification to Congress about their intent to use research and development funds to pay members of the military, two sources with direct knowledge tell NBC News.

A spokesperson for the OMB confirmed to NBC News that it plans to use the research and development funds and that there are two years' worth of funds available within the Department of Defense.
