Americans voted to bring back measles.
Wasn’t front of mind for most voters, sure, but the pro-measles contingent was a key part of the Trump 2024 coalition, with RFK Jr. and “MAHA” possibly the margin of victory in a close race.
Vaccines were on the ballot. The plurality was anti- or didn’t care.

Daisy has such a rough day that we ended up unexpectedly at the vet. Some bone fragments noted but appear to be moving - not obstructing Very dehydrated & “angry looking” intestines. An antiemetic & fluid bolus & expected to recover on her own. 🤞

I think that what’s going in Minneapolis is right up there among the worst things the federal government has ever done in US history. Plenty of bad things before, but terrorizing an entire city for weeks, just because it supports the opposition: that seems unprecedented.
It’s hard to accurately describe what is happening in Minneapolis without sounding crazy.
Unmarked rental vans all over the city, with people in military gear and no id jumping out of them to take captive anyone who looks nonwhite or who makes political speech they disagree with.

It’s a big day here, Posie “rang” the doggie bell today for the first time! She’s housebroken but always jumps & scratches at the door to go out while Daisy & Cheeseball use the bell (sometimes too much ha). Today, I watched Posie saunter over & touch the bell w her nose! 🥳
