Buttigieg on Indiana: "The big part of how Trumpism works is to make you feel totally disempowered. To make him feel inevitable. And yet the clear takeaway from this is he is not unstoppable and you are not without power."

Such Irony. In an insane moment, Kash Patel says "when you attack our nation's capitol, you attack the very being of our way of life. We will always refute it and combat it."

Except when you pardon 1,500 attackers.
These are unserious people.

Just imagine what fucking bullshit Halligan said to the first grand jury to get them to vote yes.

Trump’s legal revenge tour continues its undefeated losing streak.

Letitia James
The grand jury’s refusal to re-indict Letitia James represents a significant blow to federal prosecutors and highlights the fragility of politically charged cases brought under questionable prosecutorial authority.

And this is so obnoxious because actual-politics is kind of a fucking layup right now.

Your opponents are running a historically corrupt government.

Be anti-corruption. Run on fixing the shit they broke, holding assholes accountable, and improving people’s lives.

Duh.

The president is a political cartoon of corruption come to life, a gaudy grifter who is selling off pardons and lining his pockets, building a golden ballroom and protecting his fellow sex predator elites, all the while regular Americans are suffering and struggling to make ends meet.

Real men don’t punch down, and they especially don’t punch down at women.

This mashup of Trump’s disgusting attacks on female reporters — the same reporters who consistently show the most courage. And it’s past time for the other reporters in the room to have their backs!

The felon couldn't be bothered being presidential, is destroying our country and pardons criminals like himself.

It’s not often that the governors of California and Florida are on the same page, but this week they’re aligned in opposition to the White House’s latest plan to expand offshore oil drilling near both their shores.

Remember in 2000 when Al Gore was repeatedly misquoted as having said he invented the internet and that was seen the eyes of many as disqualifying him from office? Simpler times. Today, Trump makes up lies equivalent to "I invented the internet" 30 times a week and no one bats an eye. Good job media

The US Government is posting barely-veiled racism on official government accounts.

The 11 stars & the font choice are references to the Confederacy & to Nazi Germany.

The Trump administration is posting the kind of extremist hate you might find in a KKK group chat.

Deplorable.
Looks like it’s time to re-up this thread on the fascist genealogy of the seemingly pablum term “Americanism.”

Every single congressional Democrat needs to be out there, right now, insisting that Pete Hegseth resign right now and announcing that he will be held accountable for committing war crimes.

If you do not demand accountability here and now, they will only become more emboldened.
Exclusive: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave an order to “kill everybody” in the first strike on suspected drug boats in the Caribbean. After two men survived, the mission commander ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions, according to two sources.

Reminder that all the "pardons" granted to Jan6ers whose convictions were still pending were auto-pen pardons.
Trump claims “any document” signed by Joe Biden is “hereby terminated.”

He calls out executive orders later but obviously “any document” would be much broader and include legislation.

(He can’t legally do that but, as always, we get to watch how far he can push this without repercussions)
