It's possible that these are the cost hikes that the *providers* are creating. HMOs and insurance companies are hiking their propfut margins and your company is paying more. I seriously doubt there is a 17% hike in "illness", as it were.

1/ Listen: the people who can’t afford ACA hikes or are getting kicked off Medicare are the priority. But…last year my company saw a 17% increase in healthcare costs. This year we are projecting 20%.

Every year for idk a decade has been at least 10%
