1) Ripped to Shreds cancelling a show with Master and calling them out because they played at Metal Threat is exactly the thing that's almost never done in the metal scene and makes a HUGE difference when it happens. It's a conversation starter about complicity in metal and most plp don't want it.

Driving through Colorado Springs be like:
The image depicts a residential driveway flanked by a Nazi flag and a Confederate flag.
The photo is taken from the perspective of someone standing just outside of a gated entrance to a driveway. On either side of the frame, flags are prominently displayed; to the left, a red Nazi flag with the swastika pixelated, and on the right, a Confederate flag. These are mounted on poles attached to the fence posts of the gate.

Behind the flags, the driveway leads to a one-story garage with white siding and a gray roof. Two pickup trucks are parked in the driveway, a red one closer to the gate and a white one slightly behind it. The red truck has a sticker or emblem visible on its rear window. The environment suggests a suburban or rural setting, indicated by the surrounding trees and houses. At the bottom of the image, there is a caption that reads, "What does it mean that we already know the partisan affiliation of these people?"

A little bit of schadenfreude today: Metal Threat Festival, which was meant to be a massive swan song for a far right booker who's been banned from most music venues in/around Chicago, has dropped more than half their lineup because of visa processing issues and denials wrought by the current admin.
Metal Threat lineup gutted after widespread visa denials
Visa turmoil guts Metal Threat Fest’s lineup ahead of 2–5 Oct 2025. Numerous bands reportedly denied entry; who’s playing may only be clear on site.

OTD 1993 Ian Stuart Donaldson made his greatest contribution to this earth.

#RestInPiss
The image is a mostly black and white composition, divided into two distinct sections. The upper section contains a text announcement: "On this day, Nazi scumbag Ian Donaldson, lead vocalist for neo-Nazi punk band Skrewdriver died in a car accident on the A38." This text sets a harsh and condemnatory tone.

The lower section is dominated by a black and white portrait photograph of Ian Stuart Donaldson. He appears to be a middle-aged, bald man with a serious expression. He's wearing a white t-shirt with the word "Skrewdriver" prominently displayed, indicating his affiliation with the band and has his arms crossed. Behind his shoulders, are a flag with the celtic cross used by white supremacists and the S symbol used by his band are visible.

To the right of the photograph is a quote attributed to Donaldson: "My greatest hit? That fucking tree, lol."
