Finally released the second part of IV a little before the change of the year, as usual by now. It's still a work in progress, yes, but I'm very happy that I've reached this point. Thanks to everyone for the support.

One of my fave ds releases of the last years, percussion-heavy, proggy, perfect meeting point between fantasy synth and "gamey" music. Someone hire @sylfvr.art for a game soundtrack

To understand how bad things are evolving in Greece, almost all articles by leftist media speaking about the recent murder of 15 refugees near Chios by coastal guards are drowned by laugh reactions, racist hate comments and "congrats to the police". I've never seen this to such a degree ever.

15 more refugees killed by the Greek coastal guard near Chios. Be 100% sure that what they'll say about it will be total lies like in Pylos (they already say the boat "attacked them") and a cover-up will happen. Murderers and nazis.

I'm not often awe-struck by music anymore; I've only been returning to "Throughline" once or twice per year since I first listened to it, but my admiration for it each time increased manyfold. Truly special music.

Just did a Patreon page for my music projects. Definitely feels a lot weird, I'm not going to lie, as I've never done anything like that before. But I guess it'll give me a good push to open up and share more about my music, process and thoughts generally.

Watching this fantastic documentary about the Rojava revolution tonight from a Greek journalist who shot it while fighting on the front-line for one and half year and came back after the war ended to shoot the rest of it. Must watch material.

One standard politic of scene projects that try to include most artists from a region or country is that they usually have the most basic "no nazis" policy, but they also keep their distances from more political/antifascist artists. Be wary of any project that claims to represent a whole locality

The UK has declined a new Elbit Systems contract, leading Palestine Action prisoners to end the hunger strike that had three of them on the brink of death. The Tesco worker suspended for refusing to handle Israeli goods has been reinstated and will no longer have to handle them. We can and will win

Introducing Reign of Regicide, an antifascist music promo channel specializing in dungeon synth (in all forms), ambient, noise, and similar genres.

In essence, I wanted more space to be taken up by antifascist music so I'm wedging my way in to do exactly that.

Check out the debut video:

woke up checking my emails today to see that Sodom recommended Auriferous Flame on their bandcamp page about a month ago (!!) That's pretty cool, I'm going to say

People saying "imagine blocking a police car and expecting not to be shot" clearly want people to be killed for an act of civil disobedience of THIS kind. They are the fuel for the fascist machine. Acts like these are revolutionary beginnings and we all know it; opinions are positions on the matter.

Greek post office just absolutely fucked independent musicians. It changed codes for every product sent through post, and now it costs 21 euros inside Europe and 30 outside to send even the smallest thing like one tape or cd. That's for the crazy postage you'll be seeing in my BC from now and on

Content warning.

This video shows clearly that the 37-year-old woman that ICE agents murdered in Minneapolis today was not posing a threat to them.

Even the mayor of Minneapolis says "To ICE, get the fuck out of Minneapolis."

We must force ICE out of every city. They are kidnappers and murderers.

I'm going to post some albums from the previous year eventually, but here's something that was just released. Himmeslrandt is the continuation of Nachtreich. Classical/viola based soundscapes with an ambient touch. If you appreciate Arvo Pärt, check it out

Never forget that colonialism never stopped, it just stopped being so direct. It's why the Global South is still drowning in debt after decades of exploitation. We benefit from it as westerners and that's why we still buy its arguments and justifications for its thefts.

I'm seeing some cases where assigning a no fash description seems like you're done with politics, and it's enough apparently because nobody you work with claims to be a fascist. Some sketch and crypto-fash plp are ok to work with "no fash" because they legitimize them. Don't give them the chance.

Labels of the Year 2025

Black Metal still is a mine field. It's hard to avoid nationalistic, fascist, racist (including antisemitic), sexist, transphobe, pro colonial and imperialistic, ableist or just plain assholes. That's why labels are much appreciated if they care. This thread is a THANK YOU!

I talked yesterday in an event about antifascism and metal in Athens. Very conflicting feelings. Few people showed up. A part of the discussion was good. Another wasn't. When there are some past failings, here's some resentment and a feeling of futility in antifascists trying to do stuff in metal.

And here's the second Night Vigil album. This time it's a dungeon synth album (with a few guitars). It was really cool to do DS again and got me excited again to work on some non-metal stuff. Both albums will be released by @fiadh.bsky.social on tape soon.
