Emboldened by the ever increasing extreme views in all areas that are suddenly seen as acceptable. Sad that so many have kept these views over the years and now feel safe to give voice to them.

She really does upset the smallest of small men who have no achievements of their own.

I have previously conducted this experiment and I found it was 16. I'm excited to compare notes.

I've dragged my children to so many ancient sites in the hopes of inspiring a similar origin story but so far nothing seems to have worked! Can't force it I suppose...

Caer Seion and some shameless self promotion for #HillfortsWednesday

One of two hill forts to give the name to the nearby village of Dwygyfylchi - Two Forts. The other was shamefully destroyed by mining in the early 1900's.

This is a small, very carefully made and repeatedly resharpened flint knife made a Neanderthal person around 50,000 years ago.
It was discarded on the south coast of Jersey, carried far as an important part of their personal equipment.
Now cared for by @jerseyheritage

The weird and wonderful Maiden Castle, Yorkshire Dales, with its peculiar stone avenue and adjacent burial mound 🤔

The site has never been dated, and it's not clear whether it is Iron Age, Bronze Age, or Anglo-Saxon.

Got to admire someone who has so few problems in their lives that they can focus on ridiculous non-issues like this. I can't imagine he has many willing participants in his conversations.

A lot of people will tell you we're a Roman Palace.

We are in fact a moon-sized super-weapon capable of destroying a planet.

(Better with sound).

Dragons of the Dwindling is the 1st Kickstarter that I’ve really promoted on Bluesky. The generosity & kindness shown by you all so far- not just by pledging but also by sharing, commenting and just being lovely - has been humbling. Truly grateful to you. It runs until September 13: kck.st/4dDycup
