The jakhelt trees at Loch Tulla.
The leaning of those trees, in their enduring grace, I hear a kind of hymn: a song of what it means to stand through time, to bend without breaking, to belong utterly to a place. #Scotland #landscape #photography

Love this quote from Ben Horne.
“Content” is created for others to consume. To fill a bottomless void created by corporations.

Art is something we create for ourselves. To fill our own soul.

We need more artists in this world.

I'm always amazed at how my mind wanders and imagination runs riot when wandering in woodlands. Case in point I think this scene looks like a "Face Off" between the young autumnal beech tree and leafless gnarled elder tree. #autumn #woodland #Scotland #photography #nature

Shades of autumn in the Trossachs: This is a landscape both seen and felt: the sort of place where the earth seems to exhale, and you catch its breath on your skin. A place that does not shout its beauty but lets it seep into you, slow as mist through moss. #autumn #woodland #Scotland #landscape

While wandering through a Perthshire woodland, I came across an ancient stone dyke wall which was now resembles a battle line between the old deciduous woodland and the planted pine woods, with casualties falling across the divide. #woodland #Scotland #forest

I love the lead up to Autumn, the cooler moist mornings bringing out details that are normally passed by.

#Pieces of the formidable landscape in the #Glencoe valley are illuminated by the early morning sun, its light finding ways throng the cracks in the clouds. I think one of the mountains in this shot is Meall a' Bhùiridh; please correct me if I’m wrong.

A beautiful moment where some light fog drifted into one of my local woodlands. The ferns were beginning to turn, likely due to the hot and dry summer we have had in the South of England.

I visited Hiroshima a few weeks ago and was deeply moved by what I saw, my thoughts and best wishes to the people of the city on the 80th anniversary of the 1st atomic bomb drop on civilians.

Why do Amazon delivery guys not ring or chap the door when delivering items these days?… I’ve been waiting in the house waiting on an item only to find on my doorbell camera that it was left on the doorstep an hour and a half ago without ringing the doorbell.
