I have rememberings of The Blues Brothers at this point in time too, but this, for a platformer / arcade adventure on the #C64 - it's pretty decent. Very high production values, it looks good, plays well and sounds good. In fact, I must boot this up when I get back later!

You may as well set off the CLASSIC KLAXON, as AB really is a proper decent #C64 game. An uplift in 1999 (AB '99) offers some additional GFX by Jon Wells but the gameplay is the same. I just lost 20 minutes to it like that. Some super catchy Hubbard wraps it all up. Yes.

3 tonnes of fire wood and a bit o' kindling... Best cover it up and set about building a Log Store this weekend! Woop woop! I can't eat for the entirety of Christmas, but at least the wood burner will be constantly burning... 🔥

I love a puzzler, me and Puzznic on the #C64 (apart from a theme tune that is so annoying it is untrue (wait until you get "Hurry Up!"!!!) is a lark. It might be a little more fun 2-Ply, it might be too much. But, it is nicely put together and plays well. Love me a puzzler...

Some games are bad. Wait a minute.
Some movies are shit. Cobra is a crap movie. The #C64 game of the same name is utter pish. It is DREADFUL. Imagine Rolling Thunder and Green Beret but made by a child monkey sitting on a fire. This is so bad, it is appalling. £10 for this? No.

I remember this on the Amiga and the #C64 conversion was pretty good - it "felt" like a polished game. I think the actual gameplay got a bit repetetive fairly quickly, but the lovely graphics and the way it was put together - it is a solid game. Best top down driver for sure.

At the quiz last night multiple people commented on the growth speed & thickness of my beard. I mean - compliments are hard, right? The reason I have this, is that for the last 6 weeks, I have had zero mirrors in the cottage: New Fripville. You cannot shave effectively with no mirror. Change Comes.

I remember having this BITD & I played hours of it on my #C64. It is a fairly varied puzzle game with loads of modes, including a 2-Ply screw 'em up mode. Perhaps if released at lower price tag the reviews would have been more favourable. It really is a decent puzzler. Chill SIDs.

I never played this BITD, but I just did and I have to tell you, BM on the #C64 is no slouch - that was really good fun! Sort of 3D / isometric / diagonalised uppy / downy gameplay, Bit of Zaxxon, bit of River Raid, great fun. Loads of indicators pop on the screen - awesome!

An Amiga classic gets a conversion to the #C64. Frankly, I was always amazed when this happened (successfully): Supremacy is another great example. First Samurai..? I never got to play CR as a kid. I just played it now. It's OK, but it ain't no Creatures. Like platfomers? Go!
