Watching Delirious (the 1991 John Candy film about a guy trapped in a soap opera he’s been writing) and the town really reminds me of Westview in WandaVision. The bandstand in the town square, especially. Is it just that a lot of towns in the US look like that? Want to think it’s not a coincidence.

Two TV shows I’ve watched in the last two evenings have disturbed me in quite different ways. Tonight I watched the first ep of Pluribus, which has that weird sealed-off feeling that a lot of AppleTV shows seem to have. Deadly contagion/apocalypse tales shit me up anyway but there’s a weird smug

Realised this morning that the number of times I feel uncomfortable saying ‘This came up in my feed’ or similar is because it illustrates how much like cattle I am, just eating up whatever my mobile serves up to my brain.
