Between Aelius being born in Lapis Manalis, and Lkhagvasuren's various shenanigans to get a Galatea Magna working again, I basically felt obligated to get this outfit. It's practically meant for her.

As a child, Lkhagvasuren hoped she'd be as tall as Aelius (a Garlean of comparable height to max Elezen). Unfortunately, fate looked at Sarantsatsral (a min height femra) and then said "ctrl c, ctrl v".

It still bugs her sometimes.

She dislikes being underestimated, and she especially doesn't⬇️

Even sitting on Sarantsatsral's shoulders, Lkhagvasuren at 12 years old still has to look up at Aelius.

like many of the common assumptions about her being demure or cutesy just because she is a small Auri woman. It doesn't help that she is also the smallest member of her party.

While there's also a small lingering degree of latent internalized racism in her dislike of being short and thus not being⬇️

A'zimzizi jokingly headpats Lkhagvasuren, which the smaller Au Ra does not appreciate.

It's even "worse" in the AU where Monkhtuya survives. By DT she's old enough to have now shot up like a tree, having actually inherited Aelius' height, making Lkhagvasuren look tiny

In a kinder AU, Erenville is taken aback at the revelation that Monkhtuya is the younger sister of the duo, and is in fact over a decade Lkhagvasuren's junior.

In an AU where Monkhtuya survives, I'm not sure she's reaching the level of "idgaf about what happens to me" where she's willing to risk doing the aetheric realignment void ritual that turns them dark as a side effect

Regardless of her feelings about it, Lkhagvasuren isn't one to put something aside when it can still be of use, especially to those at Tertium.

Thus, she decides to put the Galatea Magna modified by Cid and Nero through its paces.

Some distance away from a watching crowd, Lkhagvasuren stands with Jullus in the courtyard outside the main entrance to the Tertium Station’s underground platform. Floating opposite the two of them, is the heavily modified Galatea Magna that Cid and Nero previously worked on after she requested that they get it running to help protect the station.

Lkhagvasuren adjusts her gauntlets, and comments to Jullus that she didn’t think her plans would draw a crowd. Jullus points out that it’s a nice day, and she did clear out all the surrounding rogue magitek that could be about, so people are eager for an excuse to come topside and take in the rare sunlight.

As the modified Galatea Magna hovers opposite them, Jullus also points out that few of those at Tertium would ever have seen a Reaper fight or spar before, even if they were older than the outlawing of the Order.

Lkhagvasuren requests that Jullus keeps and eye on the crowd and keeps them back as she summons her Kinna Sickle Scythe, off-handedly mentions the modified Glatea Magna’s new name/designation to be Galatea MG.

Galatea Repair

Lkhagvasuren goes back to Lapis Manalis, with an idea in mind and a complicated mix of reasonings and justifications behind it.

Lkhagvasuren looks down upon the deactivated Galatea Magna that was fought when first progressing through Lapis Manalis on the way to the voidgate in 6.3

Kneeling down beside it, she inspects it's broken form more closely.

Glancing over at a distant ledge, she her gaze is drawn to a different Galatea Magna. One that sits by itself in a seemingly inactive state, having never responded to the scions previous visit, nor her own current presence.

Lkhagvasuren now stands outside one of the few intact buildings in Lapis Manalis, with a number of inoperative Galatea Magnas scattered across the front steps. She's managed to get one of them to start hovering, but it is missing most of it's limbs.
