For reference, Minneapolis's "Metro Surge" was 25x larger than Chicago's Midway Blitz - ten times as many agents in a city almost a third the size.
The Springfield metro is only 136,000 people. A 1000-agent surge will be the equivalent of TWO HUNDRED MIDWAY BLITZES at once. Utter insanity.

I don’t think passing Tom Homan off as a professional is going to work. He has the look of a stepped-on old potato. He can’t help but sound the bell warning “drunk distant uncle at the family function.”

Bovino is just the patsy - a noxious and odious fall guy. Stephen Miller is the architect and prime mover of the whole thing. Everything they do is at his direction - often after his threats. As long as he runs policy in the WH, nothing will change no matter how many Bovinos come and go.
