I worked with Washington Post Capitals beat reporter Bailey Johnson. She's a rock star, both as a journalist and as a human being. She deserves a whole lot better than this.
If this is true (and that’s not a small if), it is reasonable to posit that Bezos is trying to offload the Post. Or kill it altogether.
