Banishing Elements is a pretty cool idea and can serve a few purposes out of combat as well as one two in combat.

Summoners, in this case, are very much tied to more traditional elements. The elementals impacting the mood could be used as a descriptor in one of their existing abilities.

Added a 6th Ability called Goddess Blessing which lets them pick one of the 8 goddesses and whenever they're reduced to 0hp they automatically summon the Aria associated with that goddess.

Invokers in Skies start play with an elemental familiar who grants them some small boons and access to limited spells unlocking more powerful spells every 4 levels. They can also summon Aria's which are temporary manifestations of the guardian spirit of each goddess. They do a big ability and gone!

Looking for some ideas for the Invoker (Summoner) abilities for Skies. At the moment they've got an option for additional familiars, calling on the elements to help with skills, an affinity for a singular element, embue a weapon with their familiar or manifest the familiar physically...

Okay my day of game writing ended with me writing all the lore I want to include for the world in Skies. Leaves a lot of plot hooks and room for expansion either by me or GMs. I finished one more monster entry as well and have set the spells to finish off for mages.

Coming off the feel good about writing earlier, the less feel good, I've got 5 monster types 100% done, another 5 just needing crafting recipes, and 11 that are in various states of needing abilities and crafting recipes. >.< This is where I wish I was working with a team.

Definitely. What's worse is when in your head you've got a clear idea, but getting it onto the page as either writing or drawing is frustrating.

Writing fluff and lore is actually the hardest part of game design for me sometimes. Other times like now when describing how some older Chimeras date back to pre Breaking world in Skies and how the most powerful of these have humanoid features and are called Imperial Sphynx really makes me happy!
