I finally wrote an intro post to pin. I can't ever be brief so made it an image (transcribed in alt). I was going to apologize for being long-winded but you know what, if you're following me, this kind of overly... everything posting is exactly what you should expect :P Interests and things I post:
List starts with an emoji that's a cartoon version of me doing a Vulcan salute.
Immigrant and dual citizen, Belgian flag and US flag emojis.
I am the world most boring archaeologist. I repost archaeology stuff but I rarely post about my own research.
TV emoji. I love good TV. My obsessions are The Expanse, Babylon 5, and Twin Peaks. I'm into all the Star Treks, though of course I have my preferences. I also love bad TV. I really enjoy watching questionable procedural dramas with a million episodes. If you get me started, I will absolutely give you my overly detailed takes on some very unserious character or plotline.
PC emoji. While I play a wide variety of video games, my biggest obsessions have been rpgs and city builders.
You'll find I post selfies, food pics, and flower pics. I am obsessed with dahlias and repost just about any dahlia pic I come across. Pink dahlia emoji.
I work out most days and I have done so for years but I rarely post about that. Another emoji of cartoon me, this one flexing a bicep.
I repost art that speaks to me somewhat regularly. I also occasionally post my own crude drawings/paintings. I have neither the talent nor the many hours/years of practice required to be good at it, but I enjoy it very much. Emoji of the White Star from B5, made from a painting I did.
Over on the other place, I used to retweet a lot of bats and fashion history posts but I don't yet get as many in my feed here. Once I do, though, there will be lots of that.
Relevant colors: List of emojis: bi flag, aro flag, ace flag, autistic pride.

Reasons I love #Babylon5, 72/100: These things. No idea how they're supposed to be operated, because there's so few buttons, but you can do basically anything with them. Still, I love them :D
A scene from Babylon 5: a right hand holding a pot on a stovetop. On this hand is a piece of metal with what looks like four buttons and some decoratively arranged cutouts, presumably for a microphone/speaker.

Oh yeah, I should have added in the alt that I finally fixed my hair :p

4.5 hour delay, but look at my sweet upgrade, though!
Sleeper train room mirror selfie, whole body, because there is so much room! I'm standing in front of a long train seat along one wall, facing the mirror on the opposite wall. There is a single seat there that's folded up. I'm eating a black velours dress, fishnet tights, black and grey striped knee socks and a dark grey suit jacket with a Discovery era silver science delta on the chest. My face mask is black with pink and red cartoon skulls. There's a bunch of luggage all around me. Wide angle shot of sleeper car room, from my pov sitting in the corner. There's a little bathroom stall with a sink on the outside opposite the long bench. The door to the hallway is open. The upper bunk is folded up. My legs all stretched out on the long bench. I don't reach the end. The curtain on the door to the hallway is closed here and only small lights are on. Another mirror selfie, seated on the bench, zoomed in. I'm holding a thermos cup of tea and I'm smiling. There's an air purifier in my lap.

Reasons I love #Babylon5, 71/100: Vir inventing a whole fake bureaucrat to do important work, but failing to come up with a better name than Ambrahamo Lincolni.
A scene from Babylon 5: Vir looking down awkwardly mid-cringe. Caption reads "Abrahamo Lincolni?"

I was checking to see if the jacket had real pockets. Possibly I've just been assuming it didn't for the past 13 years. The other pocket was still mostly sewn together.

Just pulled this out of the pocket of a suit jacket I've definitely worn several times just this year. I have no explanation.
Movie stub for the movie Prometheus. The date is June 5, 2012. It was at Kinepolis Antwerpen and it cost €9.50.

Reasons I love #Babylon5, 70/100: Food bonding.
Garibaldi, seen from the back, and Dr. Franklin are seated at a round table in Garibaldi's quarters, both in civilian clothes, eating from a big pot in the middle of the table. Garibaldi's framed Daffy Duck portrait can be seen on the wall in the background.

Reasons I love #Babylon5, 69/100: Marcus making a chart to explain where he fits in "the great organizational scheme of things".
A scene from Babylon 5: Marcus, entering Ivanova's quarters, holding a large piece of paper with many photos stuck to it. Ivanova stands by her couch, wearing casual clothes.

I send a lot of cards and this sort of thing happens all the time. Someone will get it in a week, and someone who lives really close to them will get it in a month. Also the same person will get one card in a couple of days and another in a week (or 9 days vs 27 days for international). Don't get it

My dentist appointment today and my vax appointment yesterday were both right by the Whole Foods, which sells a cherry pie that I love. I managed to leave both times without buying a pie. I feel like I deserve some kind of reward, though I don't know what that would be, if not pie.

Another torture session completed (it was actually completely chill; it's just that they keep wanting more money from me)
Looking down at my legs in a dentist chair. Around me is a sparsely furnished space with light walls and I think fake concrete floor. I'm wearing a knee -length dress. It's dark blue with a teal dead head moth print. My fishnets have a floral pattern in them, and my shoes are black high tops with bright pink and blue accents and laces.

I always feel like it's DOUBLE cold. Not just because it's so much more wind, but also because I'm not working anywhere near as hard :P

@meltykitt.bsky.social and i were watching babylon 5 and G'Kar's, um, video game device looked a little familiar
Relevant here, G'Kar is holding a small device, red and yellow, with blue holographic tape around a small screen and a small black plastic device attached to the top left corner.

Less relevant, Vir Cotto is looking dopey in the background with like praying mantis hands. G'Kar's device is a match for a Tiger Electronics Aladdin toy, which is red with yellow corners and buttons. Where the prop had been taped off, we see Jafar and the Genie prominently, and Jasmine and Aladdin less prominently. The screen, which was hard to make out on the prop, is an exterior landscape with a sky, mountain, and plains. They are a perfect match.
