Lots of lovely apricots from July. 😋
@silverpebble2.bsky.social saw this on FB Marketplace and thought of you in case you need more Victorian ink bottles.❤️
#OnThisDay 3rd November 2014, a beautiful treehouse I saw and wanted on a solo trip to Aveyron, France.
Hand on heart not the first bird I “saw” this morning but the first one my distracted mind registered: a red kite, balancing on the restless air above, eyeing up a mangled pheasant on the road for his/her breakfast. #FirstBirdOfTheDay
Why am I still astounded at the delusional 🐂💩 this knobhead comes out with?!
You’re probably right, he’d need supervision. Although there’s always a chance the loppers might slip….🪓🪚👀
Ha! You’ve just made me think of a brilliant new occupation for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. Rhodo basher/spoon whittler: Sandringham Estate is absolutely covered in them. Should keep him out of mischief. 🤣
Sorry, Rhodo’s are poisonous to goats. And even deer in large quantities which is why nothing will eat the bloody things. 😕
#OnThisDay 2nd November 2016. Bit of a dull photo today, sorry. This is an old pine console table I made into a wash stand for the downstairs loo.

Hellllllloooo? Are you there? Please help birds by sharing this if you also want to ensure swifts & other urban birds have homes alongside us. People power works but only if we work together. SAVE OUR SWIFTS.

Of course it is.

Mussolini and Hitler and Franco all blamed immigrants to seize power.

The same old playbook is being used.
Not all that crap for November. I’m a few miles south west of Cley it was windy today but sunny and quite mild. Pouring now though. 🤣Such a gorgeous N Norfolk view!
It’s awful here. I’ve got 3 teenagers and we live in a rural area. They are basically trapped into having to have a car if they want to go anywhere. They wouldn’t even be able to get to school, college or work. As well as needing to be free or cheap, there needs to actually be buses running.
Drying on the line is one of the best things about summer. 😎
Get a second box so when you have had enough, you can put them in it and put them away. Then you’ll know which you have already been through when you pick it up again. X
It was a close thing. The dog looked a bit concerned at one point. 🤣
Oh that’s brave. I’ve started this task about half a dozen times and have ended up putting them all back in the box each time.
Oh it’s your fault is it!?🤣
I hope you have a lot of pegs! 💨
Mild, sunny and windy down here in Norfolk too. I love the wind though. I have my bedroom window open at night and love to feel it blowing across me. The curtains were really flapping last night. 🤣
I see what you did there…🫢
#OnThisDay 1st November 2016. My then 10 year old daughter at her riding lesson on Black Jack. He was one of her favourite naughty ponies. She has her usual serious, deep concentration expression on and Black Jack looks as though he’s plotting his next naughtiness.
It’s a sunny, cloudless but windy morning here in Norfolk. Many little birds were flitting around when I looked out this morning but, as I didn’t have my glasses on, the #FirstBirdOfMyDay which I identified was a big, fat woodpigeon stomping around on the lawn.
