#OnThisDay 20th December 2023. I had the best meal I’ve ever eaten at La Belvedere in Lauzerte. Each morsel was exquisite. This was the dessert, chocolate and hazelnut soufflé.

#OnThisDay 18th December 2011, visit to see Father Christmas with my 4 year old twins and 5 year old daughter at Oxborough Hall in Norfolk. They were perfect little angels at all times. 🤣

A mini-story to cheer you up this morning. The other day my teenage son returned to his locked bike to find the back wheel nicked. We went back yesterday to rescue it - and found this note taped to the frame. We have the wheel again. A very happy Xmas to Ollie and his note-writing other half.

Did u know? As the chill of winter bites, small souls rely on seed heads, spent flowers, hollow stems, or leaf piles to hide until the spring warmth returns. In fact, anything that's coloured brown in your garden will be sheltering tiny lives, so don't chop, chip, or tip...believe in brown. 🤎🌿🌱🇬🇧🌱🌍🪲🍂

What the actual heck is this abomination? I pass this sign quite regularly and can’t bear to look at it. The eye with zip lids thing really gives me the heebeegeebies. Shudder!

#OnThisDay 17th December 2022 my two beauties, aged 16 and 15 at The Optus Stadium, Perth WA, to watch Perth Scorchers vs Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League. (Cricket).

#OnThisDay 16th December 2022. I had to post a video instead of a photo today. These two were living in the garden of our holiday house in Western Australia. Isn’t the Joey just the cutest thing ever?

#OnThisDay 15th December 2017 Maggie in her racing car. She always has a face on like she’s in trouble which she never is.

#OnThisDay 14th December 2024. Aldo’s snoz, snuggled up on my dressing gown next to me on the sofa.

A lovely day spent in the garden today. It was sunny and not too cold. Aldo helped me to make the first of my new rustic rose trellises from hazel, oak and dogwood branches and a repurposed cane single headboard. I love using free stuff to make new things. I have lots more branches to use. 🙂

Well done Scotland. 👏
The change, secured by @scottishgreens.org MSP @markruskell.bsky.social will ensure that all new buildings over a certain size must include #SwiftBricks as part of their design.

#OnThisDay 9th December 2010. My sweet little shepherdess in the school nativity play. She really struggled with things like this, which I now know were early signs of RSD (rejection sensitive dysphoria) Look at her anxious little face. It breaks my heart. 💔

#OnThisDay 6th December 2023. Salthouse Marshes on the North Norfolk Coast. Acres of reed beds, salt and freshwater pools, Brant geese, teal and mute swans. I was there with Aldo and not another person in sight. Bliss!

This needs to happen!
I know I have some people in the music industry following me. This is a great idea. A live aid type of concert benefitting Gaza on the same night that Eurovision airs, with hopefully all countries who are boycotting Eurovision participating here
I could see the Irish Palestine Solidarity Campaign trying to organise something like that in Ireland. It would be great if we could do something jointly with the other countries that are also boycotting. I see Zoe Lawlor sometimes - chair of the IPSC - so will sound her out.
