Y'know... If Google's really gonna lock down Android as hard as they are threatening, I may as well just switch to an iPhone.
The main reason I use android is that I can tune and customize it as much as my little geeky heart desires and yes, that includes sideloading or alternate appstores.

This wrongly assumes that LLMs can completely replace programmers, that people know what they really want and are willing to put it down in English, and that they aren't drawn to platforms because of the support that is provided.

Something I like about @zed.dev is that it has a feature where you can set the completions to only appear when needed. It doesn't get in the way like copilot does when I'm trying to focus and think.
