I don't generally grow outdoors, so I don't have to deal with that disappointment! When I do grow outside, if there are green ones leftover, I make them into green enchilada sauce! Here is the recipe:

I am a lifetime fan of both Plant and Krauss. I thought he'd never find another steady duet partner, after Sandy Denny's tragic passing. I thought she'd never find another duet partner, to match the dynamic she had with Keith Whitley (after he also tragically left us). This is such a good pairing.

I haven't shown off "Laura #5," for a long time. Look at this beautiful elfin creature! She's less than 10 inches tall, and loaded with good sized grape-shaped tomatoes! The seeds were sown on 27th June. This one's in a 2 litre container.

I eat, sleep, and breathe tomatoes! 🤣 They look great! ♥️🙌 I wasn't able to grow any indeterminates this year (was moving house), but I now have 16 varieties of micros cluttering up the window sills! 😅

I germination tested a batch of "Micro-Tina" seeds. These had been dried for three months, and were only in the ramekin of tapwater for two days, before poking out radicles. Mind you, I'm not going to cull these sprouts - they'll be my gifts for Christmas, as they'll be bearing, by then.

How are they coming along, @helenaillustrates.bsky.social ? I tried Blaue Zimmertomate twice; both times, all ended up being "helmet heads," damped off, and died. I even began them in vitro, the second time - so they were plenty humid. I think next time, I will lightly scarify the seed coats.🙏♥️
