Brexit has turned us into a joke country, economically crippled, diplomatically neutered, power and prestige all but vanished, laughed at and pitied by the rest of the word. Nice work Nigel.
"By 2025, Brexit had reduced UK GDP by 6% to 8%, with the impact accumulating gradually over time. We estimate that investment was reduced by between 12% and 18%, employment by 3% to 4% and productivity by 3% to 4%"

BBC cowed and Donald Trump’s objective achieved.
I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

Is it just possible the chasing voters on the far right fringes is not the road to electoral success? Labour, are you paying attention?

Twentieth century fascists tended to be clinical, disciplined and organised. It may be our good luck that their modern iteration are bunch of incompetent ass clowns.
Criminal charges against both James Comey and Letitia James have been dismissed by the presiding federal judges.

The far right are not patriots. They are traitors and foreign infiltrators. There’s an opening here for a progressive party that wants to show what real patriotism is - and if they are brave enough to take it.
We urgently need to know how many of these accounts have been spreading/amplifying hate, division and instability in Britain. We already know that a foreign actor - Elon Musk - promoted violent overthrow of the government. Has his platform been enabling foreign adversaries to do the same?
This is one of the big accounts boosting Tommy Robinson, Farage and Reform and ‘English Patriots’.

It’s Russian.

If this grifting, bigoted, fake ‘man of the people’ was subjected to a fraction of the scrutiny regularly applied to other politicians, he would sink without trace. He’s a nasty little nobody who should never have been allowed to achieve such influence.

Communities seeking asylum here - Huguenots, Poles, Jews, Somalis, Ugandans, Syrians, Afghans - have all enriched the UK. They make us what we are. Now Labour intend to terminate centuries of history, pull up the drawbridge and leave us to stagnate in our own bigotry.

What they fail to understand is it’s not ‘the trots’ they’ve pissed off, but millions of their natural supporters. People who actually wanted them to succeed, understood the difficulties they face and were prepared, for a long while, to give them the benefit of the doubt. All squandered.
So Wes Streeting allies want him to become Prime Minister - for the Labour Government to tank even faster.

We don't have time to play these silly games - people are suffering now.

Keep growing the alternative - they need replacing.
