Absolutely shameful article. Using the recent death of a London student murdered by another London student to push the anti-immigrant narrative. Leicester’s diversity is its strength. Maybe look at 15 years of austerity as to why there’s crime.

Awful news today that wonderful Cllr Manjula Sood has died and the city has lost an amazing public servant & leader, and many of us have lost an inspiration and a friend. She was one of the few people who came to my wedding. Some lovely memories, but am feeling very sad right now.
