And the fierce flame of freedom that burns in our hearts...
The fire is still burning the future's still calling
To follow the dream till the end of my days
Wishing's for fools but dreams are for outlaws
Laughter's for lovers and tears for the brave

The reaction to the Panorama edit has been nothing short of hysterical. Yes the BBC has some impartiality problems. But its biggest isn't the one you think.

New piece from me.

Incidentally, I don't think I notice a black person at that event, other than Aurora. And this is the second time recently she gets booed at one of their pressers.
Mhari Aurora asks a pretty fair question, is booed by the crowd and told off by Dear Leader. Then Noa Hoffman, lobs a dogwhistle soft ball about making "our high streets beautiful again", not "covered in illegal migrant vape shops," to great applause.

Genuinely ugly moment. ~AA

When I first brought this up about 7 years ago in the wake of Brexit - an elderly gentleman rang into the local radio station I was appearing on and said that "while he respected my opinion" I should be shot.

That was it for me. After a lifetime of poppy wearing, I stopped.
Flags don’t mean what they used to just months ago. I’ve written about how I think the same is happening to the poppy.

One thing I noticed today on that topic: so many people are wearing poppies that look nothing like the various ones the Royal British Legion sells…
First the flag. Now the poppy
A sombre display of remembrance is being weaponised and policed by nationalists

Cut bills by cutting profiteering, change Ofgem's marginal pricing method, improve housing, nationalise energy.

Fund green levies through general taxation. Take equity stake for govt subsidies. There must be no free cash.

There's an interesting dynamic happening in the Scottish voting intentions polling for Westminster. Votes are gravitating away from Labour, Tories and the LibDems; with an uptick towards the SNP & Greens. This means pro-indy votes are aligning more closely with pro-indy parties - currently 48%.

Quoting ourselves here, but it’s absolutely insane to us that anyone still uses Twitter. You don't have to. You can just stop. It was a *massive* part of our growth but you can just let it go. However important your business is to you, it's less important than this:
Elon Musk, "These lovely small towns in England, Scotland and Ireland, they've been living their lives quietly. They're like hobbits"

"And so one day, 1,000 people show up in your village of 500 and start raping the kids"

"This has now happened, God knows how many times in Britain"
