JUST IN: ICE didn’t say how much migrants would get or when the offer would take effect, but The AP obtained an email to migrant shelters saying children 14 years of age and older would get $2,500 each. Children were given 24 hours to respond.

The USU crowd booed when Cox was announced, drowning out the names of the other panelists as they took the stage.

At the “This is the Turning Point Tour” event in Logan, the crowd carried signs to display the late Charlie Kirk’s disagreement with Cox and often booed the governor.

The jails in Salt Lake, Tooele and Washington counties have agreements with the U.S. Marshals Service that allow ICE to bring detainees into their facilities.

This is separate from 287(g) agreements.

But Weber State's free humanities course in Ogden is starting again Sept. 16, and its funding model is largely to thank.
