Weber Housing Authority is crossing its fingers that it's found a spot for its deeply affordable housing project: an office building in Roy.

The project was originally proposed for the former Aspen assisted living building in Ogden.

It'll cost more for international tourists to visit Utah's national parks starting Jan 1st.

The nonprofit Lasagna Love usually gets about 2,500 requests per week.

UPDATED: A 2019 notice for the woman to appear in court was sent to West Valley City. Her attorney says she's never lived there. She also has a valid work permit.

I just talked to SLCPD. They confirmed that the men in street clothes were with ICE.
I'm shaking almost too hard to type. I entered SLC airport and heard screams and cries for help. I could see people gathered around, watching. I sped over to discover this woman face down on the floor, four grown men pushing her down, while she cried "HELP ME" and pled for her child.

It's unclear how many Ogden workers were included in Friday's layoffs at the Department of the Treasury.

For those still working for pay, things are not business as usual. Many are worried about being furloughed for taking time off during the shutdown.

JUST IN: ICE didn’t say how much migrants would get or when the offer would take effect, but The AP obtained an email to migrant shelters saying children 14 years of age and older would get $2,500 each. Children were given 24 hours to respond.
