I kept bumping into people I knew at the Glasgow show but then seemed to have missed several people at the RFH sadly … Such a special night full of joy and happiness

Another wonderful night with @edwyncollins.bsky.social at RFH. Delighted to see James Kirk and @steveplustax.bsky.social again - thought Glasgow would be a one off .Then Paul Cook, Dennis Bovell and Vic Godard too!And I shared it with the same friends I first saw OJ with in 1980/81. So special ❤️

Paul and Vic were sitting right in front of us and when they both disappeared it was a clue that they were going onstage. And then Dennis, James and Steven too - what a treat! 😍

Wasn’t it fabulous! Sorry I didn’t see you. Such an emotional night. And I agree about The Hanging Stars, I was really impressed by them in both Glasgow and London. And Patrick doing a double shift on guitar too!

A bit of James Baldwin today:

Seriously. A one-hour Party Political Broadcast. Followed at the top of the next hour with top story billing and a highlights package.

Exactly how will this be "balanced" across their coverage?

Where is Ofcom? Where is Nandy?

For 56 minutes Sky News and BBC News interrupted everything else and carried a Reform UK feed live, uninterrupted, unchallenged. The stream spluttered, froze, pixelated - dozens of times - still they stuck with it. FOR ONE HOUR.

This is an editorial choice. No other party gets this coverage. ~AA

We must unite against those who seek to divide us.
I know many people, particularly from London's diverse communities, are feeling extremely worried following the events this weekend.

It takes me back to how I felt growing up in the ’70s and ’80s, when
far-right political parties marched on our streets.

The leaders of the far-right are once again attempting to hijack our flag, with minorities being intimidated and fear, hatred and division being sown.

As Londoners, and as proud Brits, we must unite to reject the far-right
– just as we have many times before.

But it’s going to take a huge effort from us all – from people of all races and backgrounds, who are willing to stand up for our British values of equality, inclusion and mutual respect.

As Mayor, I'll continue to do everything I can to challenge the far-right and all those who peddle the politics of fear and division.

I urge other politicians and Londoners to do the same.

MAYOR OF LONDON, SADIQ KHAN

Sky News says police are "overwhelmed by the numbers". Met coped perfectly well with 2x as many at the pro-Gaza rally, 5x as many at the anti-Brexit march, and 15x as many at London Pride.

They're not overwhelmed by the numbers. They're overwhelmed by the ratio of violent thugs in those numbers.

If you vote Reform you will be voting against women’s equality, for more harassment in the workplace and beyond (as if there isn’t enough)

Remember 41% of the Farage Foot Soldiers arrested in last summer’s disgraceful riots had already been REPORTED FOR DOMESTIC ABUSE
