Even if you're not a Thelemite, this book absolutely needs to be on your radar. The scholarship behind it is literally off the charts! 🔥🔥🔥
This is a great thread on the ignorant and conspiratorial thinking around Thelema (a small, marginalized religion). This happens on both sides of the political isle. I encourage people to educate themselves about beliefs that are not their own instead of knee jerk fear based thinking.
There's also a difference in the way the right and left engage in conspiracy theories around my religion. With the right, it's a lot of fear mongering about eating babies and what not. On the left, it's a lot of smug ignorance and blame shifting from themselves.

Today I joined a massive crowd that greeted the venerable monks for peace as they stopped by our state capitol building. Despite the freezing temperatures ahead of an incoming winter storm thousands of people came out in support of their mission. 🕊️
