Finished There Are Rivers in the Sky by #ElifShafak last month and let me tell you - haven’t been so hooked that I couldn’t even put it in the car by the end of a book for so long. Harrowing. Brilliant. Thought-provoking. Fascinating. Incredibly well-researched. Loved it.

The more I hear from Zack Polanski the less politically homeless I feel.

Feels weird to be thinking about politics more clearly, again, with something close to interest rather than pain, but it really does seem like Zack Polanski is shifting the paradigm, & finally providing a sorely-needed challenge to Farage, & I'm intrigued to see how that will play out.

I had read one novel by Kadare before going to Albania and picked this one up whole I was there. Such an easy read with a really notable style! Have to find more of his work.
