Slapstick? #Shadowfleet tanker #Skywave (IMO932871699) just signalled flag change from Guinea-Bissau to land-locked Botswana, a country without IMO listed ship registry. Both, IMO and Euqasis missed its pitstop in G.-B., still listing it as Comoros (false).

Yeah....after loitering in the Bay of Biscay for a few days, on its way to Russian Baltic ports, the #shadowfleet tanker #Runa now continued its journey, having managed tonight to re-flag from its false Benin flag to Cameroon - the highest risk flag registry acc. to both #ParisMoU and #TokyoMoU.

Ok...this alert I set up is flooding my inbox with flag changes for #shadowfleet tanker North Lake (#IMO9231468).
Just a technical glitch at the ship's end? It was Palau before, St. Kitts & Nevis since Oct 1, 2025.
It recently had a massive AIS gap, too. But that's a different story...

Sanctioned, 23 year old #shadowfleet tanker Furia (IMO9257802) apparently in distress on its way out of the Baltic, laden with up to 100,000t Russian crude oil. After a sharp U-turn in the Fehmarn Belt, now idle in Swedish waters, signalling to be 'not under command'.

It is still at that position, now with navigational status 'Not under command'.
