I don’t require future Democrats to seek revenge. They should pursue justice, which entails prosecuting corruption, war crimes, and ICE. That’s not revenge.
This would be a huge improvement compared to Biden/Obama; because when you don’t prosecute, it only comes back worse.

Umpteenth reason Obama really wasn’t that great a president, especially given contemporary hindsight.
They're using the confinement box, one of the most horrific methods of CIA torture in the post-9/11 black sites, against migrants now. This is the direct result of the lack of consequences for the architects of the torture program. Either there will be criminal penalties for this or it will expand.

People spend much too much time trying to calculate the legal reasoning or strategy of SCOTUS, whereas I think it's pretty simple. Roberts et al are members of conservative elite culture, and they tend to go where that follows. Ten, maybe even five years ago, they were against this. Now they're not.
