I remember that the "plague of frogs" visited upon Egypt is ambiguous, it could have been lots of frogs or it *could* have been one, big frog.

So Portland Frog is a biblically correct plague!

Your reminder that credit scores in the US date to 1989. For much of their existence, race and gender were factors.

They were invented bc it had been made illegal to discriminate by race and gender in the US, so financial institutions wanted a facially neutral way to accomplish the same thing.

If you haven't seen it, watch "Incantation" which is available on Netflix. It gave me "Noroi" vibes when I first watched it and it is well done and flippin' creepy.
