I often find myself explaining something that is easy to take for granted, but should be evident: There is no reason why the program of Figuring Out Nature should proceed in time steps that are less than or comparable to the duration of one scientist’s career. (1/n)

Honestly, this made my day this. This led to Freya showing off so many cute neighborhood cats (and Freya's amazing photography) but so glad she's back!
siri was just found!!! 😭❤️ after all this time, we'd all given up hope, but she's alive!!
I saw a missing cat poster today, and I've been out looking for Siri for three hours, but, still no sign :c she went missing 9 days ago

that said, I did make two new friends at least ❤️

I teach straight through on Fridays often including lunch until the last block of the day. That's when I gorge on the BJs container of nuts I keep on hand and proceed to make myself sick. Rinse. Repeat.

Forget if I've asked this before. Is there something like Imgur except like less reddit-coded? Some place I can throw screenshots and the link that are temporary AND get grab stuff from my clipboard?

Going to be talking with students about their news sources. What are your go-to news sources? What sources would like students to be paying attention to?
